Claire Clauster (Michelle Pfeiffer) es el pegamento que mantiene unida a su caótica y adorable familia cada temporada navideña. Desde galletas perfectamente glaseadas hasta regalos meticulosamente envueltos, nadie «adorna los pasillos» como Claire. Pero este año, cuando sus hijos mayores y su distraído marido se ven envueltos en su propio drama navideño, cometen un error crucial: se olvidan de su madre. Cuando se dan cuenta de que ha desaparecido, Claire ya se ha embarcado en su propia aventura festiva, una que no implica cocinar, limpiar ni coordinar el caos de los demás. Mientras su familia lucha por encontrarla y salvar la Navidad, Claire redescubre lo que significan las fiestas cuando por fin eres libre de ponerte a ti primero.

Típica película navideña que decepciona, sobre todo por estar protagonizasda por Michelle Pfeifed. Historia de una familia muy amplia y bulliciona que cuando acuden a la casa de los padres para celebrar la Nochebuena y comer en Navidad, se olvidan de la madre. Una película de usar y tirar.
