Mitch Martin “El Padrino” (Luke Wilson), Frank “El tanque” (Will Ferrell) y Beanie (Vince Vaughn) son tres amigos treintañeros cuyas vidas no son exactamente lo que se esperaban. Mitch tiene una novia ninfómana que se mete en la cama con el primero que agarra. Frank se ha casado y su matrimonio nada tiene que ver con las juergas salvajes que organizaba años atrás. Y Beanie es un padre de familia que se muere por recuperar su alocada juventud. Pero las cosas cambian cuando Beanie sugiere que creen su propia fraternidad, en la nueva casa que Mitch tiene junto al campus de la universidad. Una ocasión para revivir tiempos gloriosos, hacer nuevos amigos y de volver a sus viejas, salvajes y desmadradas juergas de estudiantes pero sin tener que estudiar. Así, ansiosos por recuperar el tiempo de diversión escandalosa e irresponsable de sus años de universidad, deciden empezar de nuevo su propia fraternidad fuera del campus.

Comedia de treintañeros con complejo de Peter Pan que dirige Todd Phillips, responsable de películas como “Starsky & Hutch” o “Road trip: Viaje de pirados”, que el director, recupera con esta película el ambiente de su premiado documental “Frat house”. Wilson, Will Ferrell y Vince Vaughn dan vida a los protagonistas.
